Dr. Steven Dilday - Latin Assessor

Bachelor of Arts, Campbell University

Master of Arts in Religion, Westminister Theological Seminary

Doctor of Philosophy, Whitefield Theological Seminary

From the Doctor:  “I did not learn Latin initially simply to fulfill academic requirements, but because I wanted to know God.  The ascended Lord Jesus promised to provide faithful teachers for His Church in all ages, Ephesians 4:11-13, and their testimony is a thing of superlative value.  However, much of the instruction of those teachers remains locked up in Latin books.  So, I began my Latin training twenty years ago, and from that time to the present, I have used it almost every day, translating some of the great Christian works from the past, and teaching Latin to others.”

Dr. Dilday lives in Central, SC, with his wife, Amanda, and six children.
